James Patrick Bares, MD

Dr. Bares completed his Neuroradiology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic; and both his Diagnostic Radiology residency and internship at Grand Rapids Medical Education and Research Center (GRMERC) / Michigan State University (MSU). He earned his medical doctorate from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Services. He has served as a Clinical Instructor for the Michigan State University Department of Radiology and is active in research projects.

Dr. Bares was certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology and is licensed in the State of Michigan and Minnesota. Professional memberships include the American Society of Neuroradiology, American Society of Head and Neck Radiology, American Society of Spine Radiology, Association of University Radiologists, Radiological Society of North America and the American College of Radiology. He is certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology.
