Douglas M. Ellinger, MD

Before joining Advanced Radiology Services, Dr. Ellinger served as Chief of Radiology at Lakeshore Hospital and as a Board Member of the Western Michigan Radiology Network. His career as a radiologist has been focused in the Michigan area. Dr. Ellinger is Board Certified by the American College of Radiology, a certified mammography reader and licensed for nuclear medicine treatments and interpretation.

Dr. Ellinger received his undergraduate degree from Albion College, and his medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center/Saint Mary’s Health Services as well as a Diagnostic Radiology B.C. residency through GRMERC. Dr. Ellinger then went on to train in MRI/Cross Sectional Imaging at the University of Michigan Medical Center.

He is also the recipient of numerous professional awards including “The President’s Award” from the American Roentgen Ray Society. Dr. Ellinger is a member of the Radiology Society of North America, American College of Radiology, Michigan State Medical Society and Kent County Medical Society.
