Thomas A. Getz, MD
Dr. Getz graduated Cum Laude with an undergraduate degree from Williams College and he received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine where he was selected for the Radcliffe Infirmary Clerkship at Oxford University, England. While at Iowa, he was recipient of the Hancher-Finkbine Medallion for Learning, Leadership, and Loyalty, and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University, St. Louis, where he was Chief Resident.
Dr. Getz served as President of the Corporate Board of Directors for Advanced Radiology Services from 2003-2006. He has been Mammography Section Chief and Medical Director of Betty Ford Breast Care Services at Spectrum Health since 1998.
He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine. He is a member of several professional organizations including the Society of Breast Imaging and American College of Radiology.
Dr. Getz is certified by the American Board of Radiology.
