Neuroradiology

Neuroradiology is a subspecialty that diagnoses disorders of the head, neck, and spine, and locates tumors, traumatic injuries, and cerebrovascular disorders including stroke, aneurysms, vascular malformations and carotid stenosis.

Neuroradiologists use a wide range of techniques including MRI, CT, carotid/cerebral angiogram, discogram, lumbar puncture, myelogram, and fluoroscopy.

Specialists in Neuroradiology at ARS also provide advanced imaging techniques including perfusion, spectroscopy, diffusion tensor imaging, and functional MRI to diagnose and characterize neurologic conditions.

Our subspecialized physicians are available to provide expert interpretations at over 80 locations across Michigan; all accredited by the American College of Radiology.

Our Neuroradiology imaging team members are board-certified and several have advanced fellowship and CAQ training.
