Pediatric Radiology

Pediatric Radiology is focused on improving the health and well-being of neonates, infants, children, and adolescents.

Children get different diseases and have different psychosocial needs than adults.

Our Pediatric Radiologists are trained to use all imaging modalities (nuclear medicine, ultrasound, x-ray, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and fluoroscopy) to provide a diagnosis.

Because some procedures involve exposure to radiation, our Pediatric Radiologists employ special consideration when children undergo examinations using radiation.

Stringent protocols have been established to minimize any risks.

Our radiologists are leaders in this field, sharing their expertise with other physicians through the Advanced Radiology Services sponsored case study website ARSt.

Our sub-specialized physicians are available to provide expert interpretations at over 80 locations across West Michigan; all accredited by the American College of Radiology.

Our Pediatric Radiology team is board-certified and has a combined 217 years of experience.

In 2016, our radiologists read and interpreted pediatric radiology studies for over 60,000 patients.

This experience speaks to accurate, high-quality results for our patients.
